Cost: Free to affiliated credit unions for the live audio conference (includes live and 6 months access to the archive)
About This Event
Credit unions cannot live with the interchange language inserted by the Senate into the financial regulatory reform legislation. The language must be removed — and it can be, IF CREDIT UNIONS SPEAK OUT DIRECTLY TO LAWMAKERS.
Join CUNA President and CEO Dan Mica as he makes a CALL TO ACTION TO THE CREDIT UNION MOVEMENT, and outlines the steps that credit unions must take on this FREE CONFERENCE CALL FOR CREDIT UNIONS.
Total participation is limited to 3,000 connections; one credit union per call, please, so that others may participate.

Hear From...
Dan Mica
Dan is president and CEO of Credit Union National Association, the leading trade association representing the nation’s 8,000 credit unions and credit union leagues in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives that today provide affordable financial services to nearly 93 million Americans.
Dan assumed his duties at CUNA in July 1996, a time of major internal and external challenge for the association. He returned the association to sound financial footing, raised its profile on Captol Hill and put in place an array of new political advocacy and grassroots mobilization programs. CUNA now consistently ranks among Washington's "powerhouse" lobbying organizations, and for seven years running he has been named by The Hill newspaper as one of the most influential former members of Congress who have since become lobbyists.
A five-term member of Congress, Dan represented his home state in Florida from 1979 to 1989 in the U.S. House of Representatives. After leaving Capitol Hill, he joined the American Council of Life Insurance in Washington, D.C., as executive vice president overseeing the federal affairs division. He was with ACLI, the life insurance industry’s leading trade group, from 1989 to 1996.
